WHEN AND WHERE WILL THE PANAMA OPEN AIR FESTIVAL 2024 TAKE PLACE?
The Bonner Rheinaue is a spacious park along the Rhine River in Bonn, known for its green areas and well-kept flower beds. The Panama Open Air Festival 2024 will be held at Ludwig-Erhard-Allee 20, 53175 Bonn, in this scenic location. The festival not only promises great music but also a relaxing atmosphere amidst the picturesque surroundings of the Rheinaue.

WHEN DOES ADMISSION TO THE POA 2024 START?
The following admission times apply for the Panama Open Air:
Friday – from 15:00 h
Saturday – from 12:00 h
The program ends at midnight on both days.
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT FOR POA 2024?
There are no age restrictions. Minors under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, while those aged 14 to 16 must provide a signed parental consent to access the Panama Open Air premises.
IS RE-ENTRY ALLOWED AT THE FESTIVAL?
No. Re-entry is not allowed at Panama Open Air.
TICKETS
WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF TICKETS I CAN BUY?
Feel free to purchase a maximum of 20 tickets. The PANAMA OPEN AIR experience is always more enjoyable when shared with loved ones.
HOW MANY TYPES OF TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE FOR SALE?
Currently, there are POA-FULL WEEKEND PASSES or DAY PASSES (Friday or Saturday) and 3 types of tickets available :
- POA GENERAL ACCESS PASS
- POA PLUS PASS
- POA VIP PASS
WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE THE TICKETS?
After successfully completing the payment, you will receive an immediate confirmation email for your order and another containing the purchased tickets.
CAN I CANCEL OR RETURN A TICKET?
No, canceling or returning tickets is not possible!
IS IT NECESSARY TO PRINT THE TICKETS?
It’s not necessary! Tickets can be presented in digital or physical format.
IS IT NECESSARY TO HAVE AN ID WITH ME?
Absolutely! You must present a valid ID when you want to enter the Panama Open Air Festival.
I HAVE A VOUCHER FOR THE POA. HOW CAN I USE IT ON TICKETS FOR 2024?
When booking a ticket for POA 2024, simply enter your voucher code in the “Discount” field. It will then be deducted automatically.
CAN I USE MORE THAN ONE VOUCHER WHEN BUYING TICKETS?
Yes, you can use several vouchers at the same time when buying tickets.
I'VE LOST MY VOUCHER, NOW WHAT?
Don’t worry. Your voucher is registered with us. Please write an e-mail to our support (info@panamaopenair.com) and state who gave you the voucher and what credit it has. After checking in our system, we can send you a new code/voucher.
IS IT SAFE TO BUY TICKETS PRIVATELY?
Absolutely not! Illegal ticket copies are a problem for many festival organisers. It is easy to fall for tricksters. They copy tickets and then sell them on. The seller then goes through the entrance very early and the person who bought the copy comes later and is not let in because the original ticket has already been cancelled. Avoid all these problems and only buy your ticket online directly from our shop. We strongly advise you not to buy tickets on any portals! CAN A "FESTIVAL TICKET" BE USED BY DIFFERENT PEOPLE ON DIFFERENT DAYS?
No, unfortunately this is not possible. Tickets are personalized and will be checked at entrance with a photo ID.
CAN I GET A REFUND, CHANGE OR RESELL MY TICKETS?
Generally speaking, we have a no-refund/ticket change policy. However, in certain cases (e.g. cancellation due to a Force Majeure event or if you do not meet some entry criteria prescribed by the local authorities after you purchased) a full refund (excl. 3% processing fee) applies.

WHAT MEASURES CAN I TAKE TO AVOID SCAMS?
To prevent ticket fraud, it is strongly recommended to exclusively purchase tickets from our platform or our authorized partner TicketSwap. Please avoid buying tickets from unauthorized sources, as we cannot be held responsible for any issues arising from such tickets.

DO I HAVE TO PERSONALIZE MY TICKET?
Yes. Please personalize your ticket before the event. To repersonalize your ticket, go to the confirmation email and find your ticket. From there, a Vivenu-Tab should appear with the option to repersonalize the ticket.
HOW DOES THE PAYLATER PASS WORK?
The PayLater PASS allows you to make a small down payment for our POA FULL-WEEKEND PASS and secure the current ticket price. Here’s how the system works:
1. Purchase the PayLater Pass.
2. On February 31st, you will receive an email requesting the remaining balance. IMPORTANT: Keep this email.
3. You have until 31st of May to complete the payment
If the payment isn’t made you will lose the deposit, no refunds available
(You can also choose to pay in installments via Klarna or PayPal).
4. Once the remaining balance is settled, you will receive your POA FULL-WEEKEND PASS via email.
You can always add upgrades in the ticket shop to customize your festival experience. If the PayLater Pass is transferred to you, the payment request for the remaining amount will be sent to the same email address.
Please keep all information handy to ensure a smooth festival experience.
PAYMENT
HOW CAN I PAY ON SITE
The festival is completely cashless, so bring your payment cards. You can only pay with debit card, credit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. We’ve switched to a new payment system that uses a close loop system instead of the internet, ensuring smoother transactions on site.

HOW DOES THE DEPOSIT SYSTEM WORK?
Important: We do not have cash on the premises – We’re cashless only!
We have a normal deposit system. When you buy a drink, the deposit will be charged on your drink, which you can of course get back at our deposit stations.
HOW DO YOU PAY AT THE FESTIVAL?
Cashless only! You can only pay with EC card, credit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
TRAVEL & CAMPING
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO TRAVEL? BUS OR TRAIN?
From Bonn main station you can take line 66 in the direction of Bad Honnef/Ramersdorf to our beautiful Rheinaue Park. From there it is less than 100m to the festival entrance. For the sake of the environment and your stress level, we recommend travelling by train.
WHERE CAN I PARK MY CAR?
Diagonal parking is available in the following streets from Friday 4pm – Sunday 11am:

Important: After Sunday morning (around 11:00) the police are very prompt to tow any cars left parked. Please keep this in mind and move your car!
IS THERE A PARKING FEE?
Parking in the official city parking areas in the vicinity of our site is free of charge. Please be careful not to block any emergency routes or driveways.
WHERE I CAN STAY ?
Also this year, there will be exclusive accommodations for POA visitors again. For this, we have rented the ‘BaseCamp Hostel.’ It is an extraordinary, exciting, and cool location. It consists of 13 retro caravans, 2 sleeping cars, 4 US Airstreams, and other quirky options. All are imaginative overnight accommodations, set within an indoor campsite. If that’s too crazy for you, there is also the option to camp with your own tent on the lawn of the property in front of the BaseCamp. The camping tent tickets are ordered per person. You can then decide among yourselves whether to share a tent.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO CAMP AT POA 24?
Yes! The POA BaseCamp Experience is back!
Choose between camping or unique accommodations at the BaseCamp Hostel only 15 minutes away from Panama Open Air Festival.
Breakfast and an exclusive POA Pre-Party are included in the POA BaseCamp Experience.
Capacity is limited, be fast to become a part of this unique experience!

The BaseCamp opens on Fri, June 28 at 1 PM and closes on Sun, June 30 at 3 PM.

FOOD & DRINKS
Breakfast is included in the price. Snacks and drinks can be brought additionally. However, the BaseCamp landlord would like to sensitize guests not to use the area for extensive grilling activities. There is a plentiful supply of food and drinks at the festival.
CAN I CANCEL OR RETURN A TICKET?
No, canceling or returning tickets is not possible!
WHAT AM I ALLOWED TO BRING, WHAT AM I NOT ALLOWED TO BRING?
Here is an overview of the prohibited items:
Glass in any form (bottles, glasses, …), weapons, sharp objects, drinks of any kind brought along, food, professional photo equipment (reflex cameras), animals, pyrotechnics, drones (and any other kind of flying equipment).
This list is a general oversight. In case of doubt, the judgement of the security and crew is final.

lost & Found
If you have lost or found something at Panama Open Air festival ground you can come back to the Rheinaue until Wednesday, to pick your stuff up. Please bring some kind of proof with you to verify that it is your belonging.
We will be on the festival ground until Wednesday, you can pick your belongings up from 14-16 o’clock. If you’re only able to pick it up afterwards, please send a mail to info@panamaopenair.com
CAN I BRING FOOD & DRINKS WITH ME?
No. You are not allowed to bring your own food or drinks. There will be a wide range of food trucks on site to provide you with delicious food and drinks throughout the day.
On both days there will be free water at designated water stations. While you can not bring empty bottles to fill, you are welcome to refill cups from the festival.

YES! Please bring your foldable water bottles to POA. We will have free water stations on the festival grounds. The weather will be nice and hot this weekend, so remember to stay hydrated!
WHAT CAN I DO IF I NEED HELP ON SITE?
There is an information point on site that you can contact at any time.
IS THERE SECURITY?
Yes! In the festival area, we provide security through a qualified accredited partner and local law enforcement! During the festival, please cooperate with law enforcement and accredited partners in emergency situations!
WHAT CAN I DO IF I LOSE SOMETHING?
Go to an info point, maybe someone found it and left it there. Take care of your belongings!
IS THE FESTIVAL AREA BARRIER-FREE?
Yes! – All festival areas, including the toilets are handicap accessible
WHAT REGULATIONS APPLY TO PERSONS ACCOMPANYING PEOPLE WITH A HANDICAP?
If you have a category B disabled person’s ID, admission for one accompanying person is free. Your companion will receive a wristband at the entrance and does not have to buy a ticket beforehand. The prerequisite for free entry is that you come to the festival together.
ARE THERE LOCKERS ON THE PREMISES?
No. Please bring only what’s ESSENTIAL to the festival!
CAN I FILM OR TAKE PHOTOS INSIDE THE FESTIVAL?
Of course! We encourage you to capture your favorite moments and take plenty of photos. Don’t forget to tag us when you post!
CAN I BRING PROFESSIONAL EQUIPMENT OR DRONES FOR FILMING OR PHOTOGRAPHY?
No! Professional equipment or drones can only be used by accredited staff! However, you can bring a mirrorless camera.
AM I ALLOWED TO BRING A BACKPACK OR A POUCH TO THE FESTIVAL?
Yes, you can bring a backpack or a pouch, but they must not be larger than 29 cm X 21 cm X 12 cm.
WHAT ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED IN THE FESTIVAL AREA?
In the festival area, the following are strictly prohibited: any weapons, prohibited/hallucinogenic substances, drinks/food from outside the festival, and any objects that could pose a danger to your life or the lives of other participants.
Will the European Championship game be broadcast?
We will broadcast the German European Championship game on Saturday. As soon as we have more precise information regarding the kickoff time, we will discuss this with the artists to ensure the festival schedule is not affected.

Regarding your booking request, our lineup for 2024 and 2025 is already jam-packed with talented local DJs and acts. While we dig the diversity and passion of artists, we’re bummed to say that we can’t take more booking requests right now.
HOW CAN PRESS ACCREDIT THEMSELVES?
